hia i have a sigmatel usb to irda, code V6102F. I im trying to use the device for remote control on my pc, tried many different software however all accept serial port but not USB IrDa, is there any advise you can give?

Sorry but I doubt I'll be of much help here. I tried (with much frustration) getting IRDA to work with remote controls about a year ago. I tried many people's 'COM Port Emulators', but never got anything to work.
