Hey
im trying to get my recently bought usb uirt to work with my set top box to change channels..
i have tried with beyondtv and sagetv.
same issue in both programs
the box isnt pre configured in any programs so i have to learn the commands which works great but when i then try to test the ir commands the set top box dont recive the signals from the uirt?
can anyone help me? my set top box is a Sagem ITSD81 HD if that helps. |

I had a similar problem with my DirecTV DVR H23-700. There is a switch in the system setup to toggle between RF and IR remote settings. Do you know if your box is RF or IR?
I also have two SageTV MC PCs with two DirecTV H23-600 connected to them. I ended up using a serial connection to change channels since I had limited success with IR blasters. I found the IOGear GU232A works great for this application. I ended up using 4 total per each setup since both of my SageTV computers do not have RS-232 ports. There is also a null modem between each STB and the PC connection. |
