I use my USB-UIRT to control a Comcast (Motorola) DVR. I that it understand uses the XMP protocol which a lot of other IR hardware has a problem with. It works using the emitter in the unit itself of course, but I'd like to use an external emitter cable instead. Unfortunately the emitter cables I've found so far all seem incompatible with the comcast cable box. If someone knows of an IR emitter that does with with XMP I'd appreciate it if you could send me a link to where to get one.
