Discrete codes

Postby x10pf » Wed Dec 22, 2004 6:36 pm

I cannot get a discrete power on code to work on my Pioneer receiver. I thought I had it working at one point, using the lrnhelper app, but now it will only toggle. I have re-tried the lrnhelper app but still no luck. Previously the device button held the code for the "toggle" from the remote. Does this need to be erased somehow? Also, where does the data for the IR codes live? A config file? Registry?

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

The IR codes do not get stored in the USB-UIRT. Instead, they are stored (by whatever means) by the app using the USB-UIRT. What app are you using?

Discrete codes

Thanks for the quick feedback.
I am using HomeSeer with NetRemote and the HSGirder plugin.
Another issue...none of the codes for one of my devices (Sci Atl HD3250 cable box) no longer works. I have tried re-learning the codes (shows as 57.3 carrier) to no avail.

I don't know why they would stop working for that device. I would suggest contacting me at support@usbuirt.com and I can send you a simple test app...
