Number 3 misses on Sony DirectTV receiver
Posted: Wed Jan 14, 2004 6:59 pmI'm running BeyondTV 3.4 trial along with the USBUIRT to change channels on my Sony DirectTV receiver (SAT-B65).
During the BeyondTV Setup Wizard "IR testing" that runs thru changing the channel from 12, 34, 56, etc... -- the Sony receiver doesn't receive the numeral 3 almost everytime. ***The USBUIRT lights up when sending the digit 3*** I've retrained number 3 from the remote (which takes fine), and that doesn't help. I've also tried increasing the "pause milliseconds" value (ex. 600) with no difference.
The only setting that sometimes has the number 3 show up, is if I set the "repeat each button press ..." to the value of 9. Anything over 9 makes the numbers double and/or triple press (ex. 11122) and even then it still skips the number 3. With the "repeat" value below 9 it has never sent out the number 3. But I've never tried anything below the value of 6.
