Hiiiighhh temps after installing USB UIRT

Hi folks!

I recently bought an USB UIRT.
Everything works fine with it (it's a really good accessory for barebones) but something smells bad with it. If I enable its girder plugin, CPU temps raise from 48 to 67 degrees (celsius, of course) but, mysteriously, CPU usage is always between 0-15% (just PCAlert and a few processes running).
Have anybody suffered the same handicap? Can this be dued to the power supply, reaching its limits (200W) after pluging the USB UIRT and giving low voltage to CPU fans? (When I plug it in, temps don`t change. That only happens after enabling its girder plugin)

Thanx in advance.

Very strange! Do you know what MB chipset is used (USB host controller)?

My MB chipset is Nvidia nForce2 and the PC is a barebone MSI Mega180
The USB host controller is named "OpenHCD"

Regards.

I tried with other USB devices (even consuming more power than USB-UIRT) without increasing temps.
I also tried the USB-UIRT in another PC and temps are not affected.

What can be happening?

My only guess is that there is some issue with the NVidia's USB Host Controller or Driver which utilizes the CPU, etc. when USB polling transfers occur.
