Howdy. Just got my USB-UIRT in the mail, got it all setup to operate Meedio. Played with my receiver, had no problems getting it to work my Sony DE825.

However.. I tried to teach Girder 4 how to tell my Sanyo Z4 to switch to computer input and I had no luck. It sometimes gave different code returns, but the one I saw consistantly was 0000 006D 0000 0002 0156 0056 0015 0E48. Test transmit produced no results. I tried raw mode and cycled through all the freqs, no help. Bumped the repeats up and down, no good.

It doesn't seem to have an issue seeing the Z4 remote IR coming in, it just doesn't wanna work. My Suscom cable TV remote is even worse! When I try to teach Girder the cable TV commands, it generates different codes each time!

Any ideas on how to get it working? Thanks!

It is normal to see minor variations in the codes each time, since the numbers represent precise timing information and remotes typically vary from transmit to transmit.

The code you posted will likely not work, however, since it appears to only be the 'trailing' repeat of your remote code. Please make sure your remote is properly positioned in front of the USB-UIRT *before* you press and hold the button on the remote (also do not press the button until told to do so).

The code you will get will likely be much longer.
