Please help!

I bought a USB-UIRT, but I can't get it to work with Girder. I create a new folder, drag the USB-UIRT action into it, a new window opens, I click on Learn IR Code, point my remote control towards the USB-UIRT, press and hold a key on the remote control, but nothing happens. Do I need to change frequency in the menu, or what should I do? I would really appreciate your help.
