Again with the ERROR on resume from sleep.

This seems to be a common issue and I amm posting here to hopefully keep this issue in the spotlight. This occues upon resume and while using Girder.
"Unable to connect to USB-UIRT device" upon resume from:
S1 (Standby), S3 (Suspend to RAM), or S4 (Hibernation).
I have tried to enable and disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the USB root hub that it is connected to.
I know the first answer that I will receive is that this is a Girder problem. I belive this to be a driver problem. I am hoping for a new idea here other than this answer.
Any new ideas or maybe some headway on a new driver to resolve this issue. This issue makes my USB-UIRT as useful to me as a paperweight would be.
