Hello.

I just had the Dish Network installed and I'm trying to program the remote into Girder so that I can use my keyboard as a remote. I was able to program most of the buttons to work to work fine. However, there are a few buttons that I cannot get to work. These buttons include:

power
select
5
8

Girder appears to learn them, but when I click on "test" after it learns, nothing happens. What can I do to get these buttons to work? This is the remote for the Dish 522 dvr receiver.

I just set the repeat setting higher and now these buttons work. Is this normal?

Some IR devices require a code to be sent for a longer period of time for it to work reliably. The default repeat setting of 4 is probably just 'on the edge'.
