Training keys

I have a Motorola DCT700 and attempted to train the USB-UIRT. When performing the test the following channels worked 10, 11, 22, 33, 44, 99. The following did not work 55, 66, 77, 88. I tried to train keys 5, 6, 7, and 8 several times. I also tried several of the Motorola presets. On two of the presets I got the same results as training the keys. On the third another number didn't work.

This may require a timing adjustment in the app you are using (ie., its operating just 'on the edge'). What app are you using?

If you want a remote control that sits on your desktop that works with your usb-uirt to send infrared signals to a DCT700 receiver, check out my TCI200B_GUI_Remote_Control_v1_02_001.zip freeware program at:

It was developed for the DCT2000, but I just found out it also works with the DCT700.
