Problem with USB-UIRT plugin for Girder

Hi,
I'll probably ask something that have been answered yet in many topics (I've read some with the same problem but never with a clear answer, maybe I didn't search enough...).

I picked up a USB-UIRT at my job and tried to make it work with Girder 3.3.4. I use Win2k SP4, and the 2.6.9 USB-UIRT plugin for Girder.
My aim is to control media (DVD, Flash, ...) with a lambda n-in-one universal remote control (or Pronto or Nevo) I'd program with Girder.
Currently, it looks like the USB-UIRT isn't correctly detected by Windows (it's attempting to install 'eHome infrared receiver'), and I found no driver, neither at my job nor on internet, that could make Girder work.
Girder displays an error (which would be logical if the USB-UIRT isn't installed correctly...) : "Unable to find USB-UIRT Driver. Please make sure blabla..."
I'd be grateful if someone could tell me where I could download correct driver and firmware for the device.

Something stranger : I tried the USB-UIRT on an Elonex Media Center, with WinXP MCE 2002 SP2, which is not supposed to work with USB-UIRT, and when blinding the integrated IR receiver, it's working perfectly with USB-UIRT (with WinXP MCE, Meedio, Xlobby, ...). However, the Girder plugin still doesn't work. I had the same kind of problem when trying IRAssistant and other stuff. A simple UIRT (COM port) device I found looks like to work a little better, but I can't make it learn from anything else than the remote control it was bought with.
I also tried some exotic stuff, like IrComm2k, to emulate the USB port of the USB-UIRT as a COM port, but it goes from bad to worse.

Thanks in advance.

Are you SURE you have a USB-UIRT? It should not install as a eHome IR receiver -- that is a Microsoft product.
