I'm at my witts end. I have reinstalled the whole OS 3 times now. 2x with windows 2k server, now with windows xp. I am attempting to install BTV 3.7.2. The problem is at the very end of the BTV install, it attempts to tune in a channel. When it trys to go to channel 2, it does 222 222. For channel 13, it does 111 333 111 333

In the BTV setup, I have told it to only repeat each button 1 time, and 1 millisecond between keypresses. No channel padding.

Can anyone please help me?

It seems my problem has nothing to do with BTV. I used the lrnhelper utility, and when I learn the number "1", then transmit it to my reciever, it transmits "111"

Exactly the same problem in having in my BTV setup, only this time, btv is out of the loop. Its just my usb-uirt and windows.

Its a Hughes HAH-SA reciever with a hrmc-12 remote. My computer is an athlon 64 on a DFI lanparty UT motherboard (nforce 3 chipset) running windows xp with every available update, and all the latest drivers installed for everything.

How do I fix this?

Oh, and the transmitter light stays on while i do the test transmit. It doesnt blink three times.

hondaman,

This has to do with how 'long' the IR code is being sent. Unfortunately, lrnHelper is not helping you sort this issue out, since it currently sends out any learned IR codes with a fixed repeat setting of 10 (which is rather long).

I need to get this improved, so please contact me at support@usbuirt.com again and I'll get you an updated lrnHelper which has an adjustable repeat setting. This will at least get you to the point of verifying good codes to control your STB with. Then we'll tackle BTV.
