UIRT Channel Changing not automated
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2006 4:52 pmI'm using the usb uirt with a hauppauge wintv 350 pvr, gbpvr and a dish network receiver. I am able to manually change the channels within gbpvr using my dish network remote, but when I have a recording scheduled and wanting the uirt to send a signal to my dish receiver to change the channel without my intervention, it's not doing it.
I do have the uirt in line of site with my dish receiver and have it selected as my channel changer within gbpvr. I've gone through several forums but I'm not having any luck figuring this out. Any thoughts?

Looks like I got it to work. I was using the default dishnetwork.dat in my channel changer config in gbpvr. I went ahead and selected "new" and had it learn my dish remote and this seems to have solved it for now.
