USB-UIRT will not let Windows XP startup.

When I start up my computer with the USB-UIRT plugged in, the conputer shows the WindowsXP startup screen, but then the screen goes black. The computer starts up fine whrn the USB-UIRT is not plugged in.

Any ideas.

I haven't seen or heard of this issue before. Is there another PC you can try this on so we can rule in/out a defective unit?
