Wireless File transfer

Postby narcan » Mon Sep 22, 2003 8:14 am

Hi,
Does anyone know any how I can use the USB-UIRT for wireless transfer between infrared devices (in this case my sony ericsson T610). ? I want to know if there is software for this or if I can somehow make windows xp recognise the device as an infrared device and use the windows wirless transfer built in functionality.
Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks
narcan

narcan,

The simple answer is *no*. The USB-UIRT is a consumer-electronics-compatible IR device. The IR devices used for data transfer are IRDA-compatible devices. The USB-UIRT does not contain an IRDA transceiver...
