on the order page I am trying to keep a current 'Ships In' message which will let you know how long from order till the time I ship the unit. Most units will be shipped via US Postal Service, so you could go to their web site about typical shipping time to Australia.
You'll note that the 'Ships In' time has currently raised to 3 weeks. It *was* 2 weeks, which is the approximate time required for parts procurement and building/testing. I am still getting a feel for run-rate (sell-through) and also for the promptness of the parts suppliers I use, so I'm trying to be cautious at this time.
In the future, the 'ships in' time will likely go down -- once I have a more predictable sell-through amount, I want to keep a small inventory of parts/built units.
