Hello,

If I want the SnapStream/BeyondTV functionality (channel transmit support) for the USBUIRT, but without the SnapStream -- is my best choice Girder or is there some other freeware program? All I really "need" is to change the channel on my Satellite Receiver from a PC app. Even better would be telling the PC app "when" (date/time) to change the channel.

You could probably write up a simple program to do this if you have some programming knowledge, however, this would only be an app that would still have to be launched or controlled by something else (a scheduler or something).

I have used the time/date plugin for Girder and its pretty good...

You can also get Xlobby. It's free and it supports the USBUIRT. You can assign buttons and send IR commands to them.

It's pretty cool.
