Sony de845 Reciever Help

I'm having a hard time getting my usb-uirt to switch inputs on my Sony de845 reciever. Specifically I need codes for switching inputs (tv/sat is the most important) If anyone has codes for any Sony de-series reciever I would be very happy.
The remote that came with it (its about 4 years old) sends a bunch of codes sequencially and the usb-uirt can't seem to pick it up.
It seems to be a fairly common problem but I can't find a solution. I've looked on remotecentral at some ccf and pcf files but I don't know how to get anything useful out of them.
If you want to make sense of the IR debug data I can send that along.
