I've read the short tutorial on Girder. And I can't seem to find this:

I want Girder to turn on my [anything][or in my case, my stereo receiver] at a certain time of day. My idea is to control my receiver, so that my computer can record music/programs while I am at work.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn about time, time shifting, etc.?

I believe there is a 'Time Server' or (something like that) plugin for Girder which allows you to schedule events to occur in Girder at specific dates/times/etc.
