USB-UIRT Forum

The remote for the Apple TV has a "menu" button that has 2 modes: "press" and "press and hold". I can't get the USBUIRT to learn the press and hold mode. It will only learn the single "Press" mode. Does anyone have any experience with "press and hold " buttons on remotes?

holding down the remote does not send out a special command from what i understand the apple tv simply reads that command for a set amount of time and does that. So youd simply raise your IR Repeat count to replicate the button being held down

I have not tried it but maybe this will work for you. If not go to http://www.remotecentral.com and maybe you can find some codes posted there.
