Parts for building your own add-on blast emitter

here are the parts i used to build an add on blast emitter that you can plug into the back port of the usb-uirt..for about $8.00, you can build two blasters (some parts come in pairs).
- 1/8" Stereo Phone Plug, CAT #274-284, web page:

2 emitters, a double pack of stereo plugs....$8.00
connected the ring and tip of the stereo plug together and to the LED anode, connect the barrel of the stereo plug to cathode..i used some left over wire from the inside of an old computer! (free). a little bit of shrink tubing to hold the wires to the led (didn't feel like soldering)..works great..
voila! works great!! easily blasts to 6 feet (didn't really test it to a greater distance, may work well beyond that)
