Sage vs Girder codes

Postby bwill » Thu Nov 11, 2004 6:05 pm

I'm trying to teach sage tv codes for controlling sage (i.e. receiving, not transmitting), and I think I'm running into the problem that the first code received (learned) isn't the right one. When I watch in girder some of the buttons on my remote will trigger one or two codes before settling. So I want to copy the constant codes that I see from girder to sage. But the codes I see in the sagetv properties file are 19 digits, all decimal, while the girder codes are hexadecimal. How do I convert them? It doesn't appear to be a straight hexadecimal to decimal conversion...

Thanks.

Brian,

You're right -- they're not. I tried to figure it out and I believe it has even changed recently. You'll have to contact Sage on this since they developed the plugin.
