Discrete Codes

Postby nightwalker » Wed Feb 09, 2005 2:39 am

I've gotten the USB UIRT and the plug for Homeseer. I got the UIRT installed no problem, the install for the plug went well. I've learned most of my remotes and it's all pretty cool and is going to work like i'd hoped, i think.

A question, I've got a Sony A/V Reciver STR DE835 model that has some sort of burst or pulse for the off code. I can't get the UIRT to learn it. I've read that i can download a discrete code and import it in. In the learning window i see the upload button but it's greyed out, even during the learning process. I'm not sure where to go from here, can anyone give a little guidance?

I've also read about the lrnhelp program and did find that somewhere. I doesn't have any instruction doc's, are there some around that i might have missed, or will this even help?

Any help appreciated :?

nightwalker,

You can achieve an import by using the lrnHelper utility. You can request this utility from support@usbuirt.com
