Nokia Mediamaster 260S problems

Postby Mastiff » Thu Apr 14, 2005 9:10 am

Well, with the repeat problem with NetRemote eradicated I'm going back to a problem I've had for a while:

I tried learning my Nokia Mediamaster 260S, but that's not easy. This is a channel up code that works, taken from another Nokia setup file on remotecentral:

0000 006b 004c 0001 0012 0061 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0310 0012 0061 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0014 0012 0028 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0028 0014 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0028 0012 0bf5 0012 0061 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0014 0012 0028 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0028 0014 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0028 0012 0bf5 0012 0061 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0014 0012 0028 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0028 0014 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0028 0012 0bf5 0012 0061 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0014 0012 0028 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0012 0014 0028 0014 0012 0028 0028 0014 0012 0028 0012 0f00

And here's what I captured with the USB-UIRT learning utility, and that only works if I hold down the button and do a repeat for a second or so:

0000 006b 0011 000f 0013 0062 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0316 0013 0062 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0028 0013 0c10

Does anybody have any idea why the USB-UIRT won't learn this correctly? The reason I need to learn some stuff is that some of the buttons on the one I've got doesn't excist on the CCF I took the upper code from. These are the learned codes for those buttons (record - play/pause - stop with the built in PVR):

0000 006b 0000 000f 0013 0062 0013 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0028 0013 0c13

0000 006b 0000 000e 0013 0062 0013 0028 0028 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0028 0013 0c0d

0000 006b 0000 000f 0013 0062 0013 0013 0013 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0013 0013 0028 0013 0013 0028 0028 0013 0013 0028 0013 0c10

Is it possible to convert them to the same format as the upper one?

Hmmm, I have no idea..! It is a very complex code, I'll have to look into it.
