USB UIRT quit working

MY USB UIRT mysteriously quit working. My PC has an ATI All in wonder 9800 video card. Before it quit working, I did some "spring cleaning" on my PC and uninstalled alot of software that I wasn't using including the bundled software that came with the ATI card. This included the All in wonder remote driver.

Now, is this just a coincidence? Personally, I don't believe in coincidences. Do I need to reinstall the remote driver or has my USB UIRT just "failed".

What software are you using the USB-UIRT with (Girder, BTV, etc.)?

I'm using Beyond TV 3.5.2.
