Set Up Trouble with BTV

I have BTV 3.5, Hauppage PVR 250, RCA direcTV receiver DRD435RH and am having set up trouble. I have set up my external tuner, etc using unknown source and successfully trained USB UIRT with my remote. Pressing enter after channel selection is unchecked, PAD is checked at 3. I run the test in the BTV set up wizard and everything works great. Yet when I click finish in the BTV set up wizard, everything gets messed up. It activates the direcTV guide and I cannot tune my tuner. Everything was great in the "run test" screen. Any ideas what happened? Any suggestions?

Have you contacted BTV on this? This issue sounds like it is BTV related (who wrote their USB-UIRT support) since the wizard is able to tune yet the tuning does not function from the main program...
